Series Aims
  • To see how the Spirit empowered witness of Jesus' followers brought about the birth and growth of the early church despite many difficulties.
  • To understand the need for repentance and faith in Jesus as the only way to be rescued.
  • To be challenged to continue the work of making the risen, ascended Jesus known to people from all nations.

Series Overview
These seven lessons explore what Jesus did through the apostle Peter to establish the early church. The series shows how the Church was born as people responded in repentance and faith to the good news about the risen, ascended Jesus. It also shows how the church grew despite opposition, corruption, death and imprisonment. Absolutely nothing could stop this wonderful news from spreading to include people from every tribe, tongue and nation.
